5º STOP: Machinery of the Time
The semi-automatic can sealer marked a major step forward in production: a small motor replaced manual effort, speeding up the sealing of each container without losing precision. This machine is located in the same spot it occupied when the museum was still La Fábrica Vieja.
Next to it, the copper boiler allowed fruits and vegetables to be heated evenly using steam—a key system for ensuring the quality and safety of the preserves.
